Linking Pasts and Sharing Knowledge. Mapping Archaeological Heritage, Legacy Data Integration and Web Technologies for Modelling Historical Landscapes
Edited by Rodolfo Brancato, Julian Bogdani, Valeria Vitale
During the two days, researchers and lecturers from Italian and foreign research institutions and universities will discuss the intersection between archaeological research and Digital Humanities (DH) from an interdisciplinary perspective. The initiative, organised with the University of Rome La Sapienza and the University of Sheffield, brings together researchers actively engaged in the fields of archaeology, historical geography and computer science interested in exploring, within the framework of DH, open and connected approaches useful for the study of material culture, landscape and visual and textual representations of cultural heritage.
